Wow, lucky you. My Dad used to throw a throw net on the beach in Englewood FL to collect small tiny fish. Then he used those for bate. If you go out on a Pier near in lemon bay, you can shrimp. Get a shrimping light, lower it over the water. Get a huge net to scoop them up when you see their glowing eyes among the sea weed! Then place them in a bucket with water and keep it covered, they’re strong and will pop up!

For the snapper, free line live shrimp with nothing but a hook. Let the snapper run with the bait for a small bit, when he stops, and then starts again, that is when you hook him. For snook, try it at night around any lights with live finger mullet or any topwater plug that looks like a finger mullet. Cast around any bridges, culverts or docks or any log in the water or anything else that breaks the current, the snook will be there. excellent luck.
