@stluciesheriff

Thanks, I’ve been keeping my eye out, but haven’t seen the aviation and marine units. Just wanted to let you know you have at least one loyal viewer (me), and I’ve decided to take the PELLETB test to get accepted to the academy. It’s happening for me this month! I really want to be in law enforcement.

This officer does seem to be very calm yet professional, I wish more officers would have the same demeanor as him

Cops that work night shift should get paid more. Seems to me to be a lot more risk involved.

Starch will keep the uniform crisp. You can also press the uniform at home, using starch, a steam iron and a pressing cloth. Some deputies have had their uniforms tailored.

This is more of a “modern day” cops, it seems like. I like this show much better.

St Lucie County is 2 counties north of Palm Beach county 2 hours from Orlando and 2 hours from Miami

I like this because the officers are more professional and courteous than a lot of the law enforcement officers on “Cops”. So you can tell it’s not braggadacio for the camera. It’s more day-to-day life of a deputy.

They barely even raise their voices. It’s great to know there are officers out there defending the thin blue line between society and chaos.

We will be posting an older episode that features the Aviation and Marine Units. Keep an eye out for it.

raultula August 5, 2010 at 1:26 pm

where is St.Lucie at??

JJ600RR August 5, 2010 at 2:19 pm

yes. i was saying this because the deputy said the guy was going in for two offenses–i thought it was going to be three.

i’m not going against the deputy, i’m just curious because i really admire law enforcement, and am really considering pursuing a career. my other passion is aviation.

jcnme27 August 5, 2010 at 2:45 pm

Yes but the deputy arrested him for giving false information to a police officer and knowingly driving with a suspended license. So the subject faces two misdemeanors instead of a simple traffic violation.

stluciesheriff August 5, 2010 at 2:58 pm

That is left up to the discretion of the deputy. I do believe in this case he was cited.

JJ600RR August 5, 2010 at 3:29 pm

what about the offense of running the red light?? wasn’t that why the officer initiated the stop?
